Washing liquid
Refill at zerowaste shop or try soap nuts (plastic free packaging).  A few laundry detergents as well as Borax and washing soda is still available in cardboard boxes. An Eco egg is another option that you can reuse many times, but the egg itself is made from plastic so not ideal.

Softner
Add some white wine vinegar to the final rinse cycle – helps to rinse off the soap and doesn’t make clothes smell!

Floor cleaner
Refill from your local zerowaste shop, or use bicarbonate of soda or household vinegar. (To avoid the vinegar smell let it soak with lemon and orange peel for a few weeks before use).

Toilet cleaner
Apple cider vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. Removes limescale and other stains.

General purpose cleaner
Apple cider vinegar, Borax and bicarbonate of soda.

Bleach
Bicarbonate of soda and lemon juice works well both for cleaning kitchen, bathroom and removing staines from clothes.
