Plastic brushes
Natural fibre brushes – wood, coconut and bamboo options available. Plastic sponges You can buy cellulose cloths that are really absorbent, reusable and will eventually compost. Or use a rag. Paper towels Use a flannel, rag or reusable bamboo paper towels. Plastic scrub Use a loofah or coconut scrub. Washing up liquid in plastic bottles Refill at zero-waste shop or better still use baking soda or a bar soap. Plastic dishcloths Cotton ones, or you can reuse rags from clothing and towels. Cling film Bee or soy wax food wrap. Put it in a bowl with a plate on top or in a jar! Plastic based water filters There are charcoal sticks that you can buy and put in your water, that are just as good as the disposable plastic filters, and they will last longer. |
