Sustainable workshops for free!
We are undertaking / have undertaken a series of events on various topics asked for by the local community.
PAST
All the R's : Thursday 28 September 2023 @ 7pm
A practical workshop on reducing waste, reusing items, refusing packaging, repurposing items, recycling and more
Wildlife Friendly Gardening: Monday 23 October @2.30
A fun and engaging free-to-attend workshop from Eco Sobo is happening this October half term teaching children (and adults!) how to create a wildlife-friendly garden.
Renewables: Solar and more: Saturday 18th November from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
This workshop gave people the unique opportunity to see green technologies and renewable energy solutions in action in a real home. As well as having a guided tour of a local residents home, there was also expert solar installers there to answer any questions.

Come and learn about how to travel more sustainably. From bicycles, walking, electric scooters, buses and more. We're hoping you might be able to have a go too!
Volunteering at the Sustainability Festival tbc
Come and learn more about what you can do to help us with the local festival, including what you can get out of it including some practical volunteer training to keep you safe.
Eco Sobo has gratefully received a grant from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for some sustainability workshops to meet the growing demand locally for practical solutions to going greener. (This funding was distributed by Dorset Community Foundation working with BCP Council, via the BCP Thriving Communities Fund)
